Wood turning is a technique I use to create works that enhance the natural beauty of the material. However, I typically do not work with clean, milled woods, but instead seek out damaged, aged, decayed woods or industrial man-manipulated woods to work with. The underlying ideas are similar to those I explore in my other works, industrialization and the wearing away and decay of objects around us.
